At Mental Care Clinic, we are dedicated to providing exceptional mental health services while fully complying with the laws and regulations governing mental health providers in Australia. Our policies have been designed to ensure the highest standard of care and uphold the well-being of our valued clients.

Zero Tolerance Policy

​

We maintain a zero tolerance policy towards any form of abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior from clients. We are committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all individuals seeking our services. Any client found engaging in such behavior may be denied continued treatment at the discretion of the clinic.

Fees and Payment

​

Individual Consultation: The cost of an individual consultation session lasting 50 minutes is $250. Payment for individual sessions is required at the end of each session. We accept debit/credit card payments or bank transfers. Your psychologist will discuss your eligibility for Medicare or other compensable funding options during your initial consultation.

Couple Therapy Session: For couple therapy sessions, the cost is $300 for a 50-minute session. Payment for couple therapy sessions is also due at the end of each session. We accept debit/credit card payments or bank transfers. Eligibility for Medicare or other compensable funding options will be assessed by the psychologist.

Payments will be processed within 48 hours after the completion of each session. Once the payment has been confirmed, a receipt will be sent to the client for their records.

Cancellation Policy

​

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or postpone your appointment. This will allow us the opportunity to offer the appointment slot to another client. Failure to provide the minimum notice will result in a full session fee being charged.

We recognise that unexpected situations may occur, and exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you encounter any difficulties in attending your scheduled appointment, please contact our clinic as soon as possible.
