Psychological Services Fees
The Current Recommended Fee for Psychological Services recommended by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) is $280 for a 45-50min session.
​
Mental Care Clinic session fees are calculated on the assumption that one hour of therapeutic time will involve an additional half an hour of associated non-billable professional time.
​
While Mental Care Clinic is not a bulk-billing practice, patients with a Mental Health Care Plan referral from their GP are eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 appointments per calendar year.

With a mental health care plan, clients are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $92.00

Psychological Assessments
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)
The WISC-V assessment identifies intellectual disability, giftedness, specific learning requirements & disabilities and clinical intervention. The WISC-V generally takes between 1-3 hours to complete. Test age range: 6 -16 years.
Fee: $1500 including full report.

Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS)
The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) is an IQ test designed to measure intelligence and cognitive ability in adults and older adolescents. Assessment generally takes between 1-3 hours to complete. Test age range: 16 -90 years

Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS)
The Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS) is a neuropsychological test designed to measure different memory functions in a person. The WMS assess a number of different types of memory, including verbal, auditory, visual, short-term, and working memory. Assessment generally takes between 1-3 hours to complete. Test age range: 16 – 89 years

Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment (Adult)
The comprehensive mental health assessment includes the PAI and the SCID and SCID-PD. The PAI is an objective inventory of adult personality, assesses psychopathological syndromes and provides information relevant for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and screening for psychopathology. Assessment generally takes between 1-2 hours to complete. Test age range: 18 years to 89 years.
