Frequently Asked Questions — Bankstown
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist in Bankstown?
No. You can book an appointment directly without a referral. However, if you want to
claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP
first. We recommend calling your GP to ask whether a plan is suitable for you before
your first session.
Is parking available at the Flinders Centre?
Yes. The Bankstown Central shopping centre car park is immediately adjacent and
offers paid parking. There is also paid street parking on Restwell Street and nearby

Can I access WorkCover psychology at your Bankstown clinic?
Yes. We are SIRA-accredited to provide workers compensation psychology in NSW.
